Quilter's Review Sampler

Piecing It All Together
I grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. I raised my daughter there. Charlie and I lived the first 18 years of our married life together in Clearwater. My daughter, her husband, and my three grandsons live in Seminole. So when hurricanes roll through Florida, my heart goes out immediately to everyone whose lives are thrown into turmoil.
If you and your family are safe and dry today, I hope you'll consider reaching out to those who aren't. There are many ways to do that, but if you need an idea consider the Florida Hurricane Relief Fund or our reliable standby in times of disaster, the American Red Cross.
This week in Quilter's Review, I've found a new cutting table that I'm very happy with. And Sophie looks at two books you'll enjoy, including one that's full of detailed instructions for making some of those amazing quilts you've seen on the cover of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine month after month.
Charlie won't be available to publish the next issue, so I'll be back in your inbox on October 11th.
'Til then, happy quilting!

P.S. Need to make an easy, charming gift? My new Charming Houses wall quilt pattern is a great way to assemble a quaint village scene using fusible web applique and 6" charms from your stash. You'll love the look -- see it here -- and making it couldn't be more fun!
