Quilter's Review Sampler

Piecing It All Together
Would you believe it? I gave you two links to two different Web sites in the last issue, and they both changed shortly after the newsletter went out. Hollis Chatelain's Best Of Show quilt is now here, and the rest of the winners are now here.
In other news, Charlie has replaced our Quilter's Bookstore pages with something much better. Our new bookstore includes every quilting book Amazon.com offers. It is organized into categories and has a shopping cart. Take a look here and let us know what you think.
Perhaps the coolest thing about the new bookstore is that when you check out, you do so on Amazon.com's secure checkout pages, and Amazon.com ships your purchases to you. It's our bookstore, designed with quilters in mind and with links to exclusive Quilter's Review book reviews, but it's totally powered by Amazon.com for great prices, secure payments, and fast shipping.
This week in Quilter's Review I review GridGrip, a special iron-on template paper that comes with preprinted grids to let you design your block and draw your templates in a single step. You'll also find Sophie's reviews of Alex Anderson's popular Finish It and the charming English Cottage Quilts.
I'll be back in your inbox on December 20th.
'Til then, happy quilting!

P.S. Need to make an easy, charming gift? My new Charming Houses wall quilt pattern is a great way to assemble a quaint village scene using fusible web applique and 6" charms from your stash. You'll love the look -- see it here -- and making it couldn't be more fun!
