Quilter's Review Sampler
#211 - October 10, 2005
Piecing It All Together
I've been looking forward to fall. I love the beautiful colors of the leaves and all the fall flowers. Everywhere I look, I see quilt ideas. I picked large red and yellow apples hanging among dark green leaves. I saw a field of orange pumpkins nestled in gray green foliage. The mums this year are irresistible in so many scrumptious colors. I have more quilt ideas than I have apples.
In this issue of Quilter's Review, I reviewed a template that enables me to cut many sizes and shapes for my quilt pieces. Sophie reviews two books that will give you plenty of inspiration for your next quilting projects. One book helps you make Mariner's Compass quilts the easy way. The second book looks at standard quilts with creative and unexpected settings and colors.
On a more serious note, I've received several emails from QuiltersReview.com this week telling me that my User Profile is out of date or that my account will be suspended. Imagine my surprise since I'm the one who sends messages from Quilter's Review. WARNING: Don't respond to these messages if you get them and don't open any attachments. Just delete those messages. You can tell if the message is really from us by looking at the FROM address. Any correspondence we send to our mailing list comes from Newsletter or from Charlie's or my personal email address.
I've been waiting fo rthe spam to die down before sending this newsletter, Quilter's Review Sampler will be back in your email box on October 24. Enjoy the fall leaves and cooler temperatures.

P.S. Need to make an easy, charming gift? My Charming Houses wall quilt pattern is a great way to assemble a quaint village scene using fusible web applique and 6" charms from your stash. You'll love the look -- see it here -- and making it couldn't be more fun!
