Quilter's Review Sampler
#220 - March 20, 2006
Piecing It All Together
Happy Spring! It won't be long before the flowers will start poking up through the ground. We don't have any snow to speak of so it looks like it's later in the year that the temperature tells us. I'm still quite comfortable staying indoors but now we have sunshine streaming in the window more days than not. I think it's time to get out some floral fabric to make a spring quilt.
Speaking of spring, I review a book that shows how to make embroidered flowers and a box of recipe cards of yummy desserts. The product review for this issue is the SewSlip, a cover that adheres to the bed of your sewing machine to make quilting easier.
I'm going to try to get out another issue of Quilter's Review Sampler before the April 15th Income Tax deadline, my least favorite time of the year. Until then, keep your sewing machines clean and oiled

P.S.Sell the items you no longer use, a Quilter's Review classified ad is an easy, inexpensive way to get the word out to over 11,600 avid quilters -- our wonderful readers! Learn more here.
