Quilter's Review Sampler
#226 - March 19, 2007
Piecing It All Together
With corporate taxes out of the way, I've begun quilting again. I am making a twin Double Irish Chain to donate to the American Cancer Society in memory of those I've lost to this terrible disease. I chose fabrics that were restful and comforting in a medium green, cocoa brown, and a cream with small pink flowers and green leaves.
I've been busy designing projects for classes that I will teach at the Constant Quilter in Andover, NH. I'm working on a collage vest in African-like fabrics. I've chosen Japanese fabrics to make the Wild Onion Jacket, a one-piece jacket with no set in sleeves so there is plenty of space for my design. I'm working on a small fused flower wall hanging using Caryl Bryer Fallert's Gradations fabric line with which I've fallen in love.
I hope you are having as much fun with fabric as I am. Happy Spring! Watch for the next issue of Quilter's Review Sampler in a couple of weeks.
